Secondary education: 5th Gymnasium and the Classical Lyceum, Chania, Crete, Greece.
1992-1993

Matriculated and attended the Department of Education, University of Crete, Rethymno, Greece.

1993

Matriculated and attended the Department of History and Archaeology, University of Crete, Rethymno, Greece, with a Pan-Hellenic Examinations  result (equivalent to “A levels”) of 5901/6400 (first nationwide in the Department acceptances that year).

1997

Degree in Archaeology and History of Art ranked “Excellent” [=First] (8.95/10.00, the highest result among the Archaeology Department graduates. I came second in my year in the whole School of Philosophy (i.e. Faculty of Arts).

1998

Master of Arts in Mediterranean Archaeology, with Distinction (Department of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Bristol) under Professors P.M. Warren and R.J. Harrison. Dissertation Title: “The Palace - Peak Sanctuary Network of Minoan Crete” .

2002

PhD. (Department of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Bristol) under the supervision of Prof. P.M. Warren. PhD. Title: “Middle Minoan III Pottery from Building B of the Mount Juktas Peak Sanctuary, Crete, and a general re-assessment of the Middle Minoan III Period” .
